Description

This striking diamond and sapphire ring features a high quality 0.80ct old transitional cut diamond flanked by royal blue kite shape sapphires. Bright white and exceptionally clean, the GIA certified H VS2 diamond is vibrant and lively with bold sparkle. Hand cut a lifetime in the past during the 1930s-1940s, the diamond has wide facets that produce bold sparkle and fire! This high quality ring is an excellent choice for an engagement ring or right hand ring that is not only beautifully designed and stylish, but also fully unique and steeped in history.

The diamond is certified by GIA, the world’s premier gemological authority. Graded H for color, the 0.80ct center diamond faces up bright white. Graded VS2 for clarity, it is completely eye clean. The few inclusions are much too small to see with the naked eye. As a vintage diamond, it is completely unique and guaranteed to be ethically sourced. The transitional cut is very well executed for fantastic. GIA gave the stone a Good cut grade since they were grading against standard proportions for round diamonds. This is not an accurate reflection of the diamond’s brilliance, as the stone is very bright and lively! At 6.1mm, it also has a great spread and a large look for its weight. Overall, it is a beautiful high quality stone with vibrant brilliance.

The sapphires have a richly saturated royal blue hue. Their kite shapes add a chic geometric element. The diamond and sapphires are all natural earth mined. The setting is made of solid 14k white gold.
