Featured here is a rare 1.77ct Old Mine cushion cut diamond with wonderful antique characteristics! This is one of the nicer old mine cut cushions that we have owned based on the cut quality! Its a quintessential old mine cut that has all of the great features of it. This one of a kind diamond has a great size and it was cut by hand during the 1800s. It is full of old world charm with a unique look featuring a small table, broad faceting and a visible open culet. The cut is a very nice and very similar to a cushion brilliant. This is a nice quality cushion, not the wonky, lop sided types. This is a fine quality cushion cut that looks even better in person! The diamond has been certified by EGL-USA and it has also been appraised by UGS with a retail replacement value of $8,285! This is a super conservative appraisal because the lab does not account for the rarity of the type of antique cushion. This is one of the nicest ones so this value really should be higher. The diamond has a beautiful face-up, only showing a touch of warmth. Antique diamonds are known for having just a slight hint of color because of the location of some of the worlds first diamond mines. It has a gorgeous face-up which will show less color when worn on the hand, next to skin tone. In addition to its beautiful face-up, the diamond is 100% clean to the naked eye with no visible inclusions. The diamond is being sold loose although it can be mounted in one of our settings upon request. It will make a gorgeous centerpiece to any engagement or cocktail ring. Make this one of a kind antique 1.77ct Old Mine cut diamond with EGL-USA certification yours before it has been sold! We certainly cannot replace it once its gone.
