This stunning Old European cut GIA certified diamond is beautifully white, 100% eye clean, and it has gorgeous fiery sparkle. Cut by hand in the early 1900s, this 0.46ct diamond is completely unique, guaranteed to be 100% conflict free, and full of old world charm. Graded H for color under GIA’s strict standards, it is a rare example of a bright white old cut diamond! Already imbued with a century of life, this diamond will make an engagement or right hand ring that is not only stunningly beautiful but also full of depth, history, and longevity. The diamond is certified by GIA, the world’s premier gemological authority. Brilliantly white, it received a grade of H for color. Diamonds from its time period tend to show some warmth, so it is rare to find one with such nice white color! The diamond received a grade of SI2 for clarity, and it is 100% eye clean. A great SI2, the primary inclusion is small and transparent. It disappears completely into the sparkle and is completely invisible to the naked eye. As an Old European cut diamond, it has wide hand cut facets which return exceptionally big and bright sparkle as well as captivating flashes of colorful fire (rainbow refractions). Overall, the diamond has a very bright and lively appearance! Measuring approximately 5mm in diameter, the diamond has a great spread and a large look relative to its size. It is comparable in appearance to an old cut diamond of 0.5ct or more; however, it is priced significantly below a 0.5ct as diamond prices jump at the 0.5ct mark. The diamond is being sold loose, but it can be mounted upon request. Please browse our collection of semi-mounts or inquire about a one of a kind custom design. Full of old world charm and dazzlingly brilliant, this diamond is an excellent choice for an enduring engagement or right hand ring. Make it yours before it has sold!
