The shoulders of the classically timeless platinum setting are studded with high quality and excellently cut G-H VS diamonds as well as a band of vibrant green custom cut natural emeralds. Finished with elegant cut-outs, this setting provides the perfect backdrop for a diamond or gemstone of your choice. The setting can fit a round center stone with diameters ranging from 5.4mm to 6.0mm. In the lower end of this range, the setting could fit a cushion, princess, asscher, or radiant cut. The diamonds are brilliantly white, graded G-H for color. Graded VS for clarity, they are all completely eye clean, and, even under 10x magnification, it is difficult to find any inclusions. The diamonds are all very well cut and sparkle with lively brilliance. The emeralds are a rich, well-saturated green reminiscent of lush forest foliage. They contrast strikingly with the bright white of the diamonds and the platinum. The emeralds are cut and set with exceptional craftsmanship. Each emerald is individually cut to fit in the channel with zero gaps. This is a highly skilled and labor intensive process, especially for a soft stone such as emerald, that truly makes this setting a work of art! The diamonds and emeralds are natural, earth-mined stones. The setting is made of solid platinum and has a great weight to it which is quite substantial. The ring measures 7.0mm across (north south) and 5.2mm from finger to top.
