The diamond has a laser drill to remove a black inclusion, allowing this diamond to be so clean. The drill is very minor and hard to find even under 10x magnification. Laser-drilling is a one time, permanent process that does not in any way affect the wearability or longevity of the diamond. The diamond has not been injected with any material, meaning that it is NOT clarity enhanced (fracture filled, yehuda treated). Because no foreign materials have been injected into the diamond, laser drilled diamonds command a much higher value than clarity enhanced diamonds. At the same time, this laser-drilled diamond does come at a significant discount compared to a non-laser drilled diamond.
