Featured here is a very lovely semi-mount with a halo of diamonds on top and additional diamonds down the side. This ring is ideally made for a cushion, though it can also fit a round stone as well. This is a vintage inspired mounting that would be perfect with an old mine cut diamond as well! The diamonds are substantially sized and have great sparkle. They are white and free from any visible imperfections. This ring has the classic vintage motifs of a wire gallery and shoulders coming up to the top. The ring is made from solid 14 karat white gold and has a substantial feel to it at 3.8 grams! The parameters for what can fit will vary depending on the exact cut of the stone. For cushion cuts, 5.7mm to 7.2mm will work best. These are approximate requirements because some cushions are cut more square and some are more rounded. The middle of that range is best.
