The 0.35ct center diamond is 100% eye clean, graded SI1 for clarity. The few inclusions are much too small to see with the naked eye. Graded F for color it is bright white and colorless. It is just a couple very subtle shades away from perfect D color! As an old transitional cut, the diamond has old style facets and bold sparkle similar to an old European cut but with proportions similar to modern standards and a smaller culet. Bridging the gap between old cuts and modern round brilliants, old transitional cut diamonds were produced for a very short period of time and are exceptionally rare. The diamond absolutely retains the unique charm of a hand cut stone. The accent diamonds are very high quality. Bright white and exceptionally clean, they are graded F-G for color and VS for clarity. The ring is made of solid 14k white gold. The ring measures 5.0mm across (north south) and 5.8mm from finger to top.
