This absolutely unique diamond and sapphire ring is elegantly designed with an artful, ethereal structure and was masterfully crafted by hand a lifetime in the past during the illustrious Art Deco era. The ring features three old European cut diamonds accented with two royal blue triangle cut sapphires. The 18k white gold filigree is intricately constructed in a curling design with a touch of Gothic edge and finished with hand applied milgrain. The old European cut diamonds are bright white, graded F-G for color. Graded VS2-SI1 for clarity, it is completely eye clean and displays lively brilliance. The few inclusions are much too small to see with the naked eye. The diamond is completely natural earth mined and has not received any treatments or enhancements. The sapphires are a rich and even royal blue color. It is likely that the sapphires are synthetic, as this was typical for the time period; however, importantly, they are original to the piece and were cut by hand to fit the setting perfectly. The setting is made from solid 18k white gold. The ring measures 18.3mm across (north south) and 3.5mm from finger to top.
