This stunning 1.14ct old mine cut diamond has excellent VS1 clarity, dazzlingly brilliant sparkle, and is striking in size! Cut by hand during the Victorian era of the 1800s, this rare diamond is completely unique, conflict free, and full of old world charm. Historied and full of life, this diamond will make an engagement or right hand ring that is not only dazzlingly beautiful but also imbued with depth and longevity.

Graded VS1 for clarity, even under 10x magnification, there are no visible inclusions! Graded M for color, the diamond does show a subtle hint of warmth, as is typical for old mine cuts. On the face up, the diamond’s sparkle reflects white light and helps tremendously to mask the subtle color. In a solitaire, it would be hard to notice the subtle body warmth. Overall, the diamond has a gorgeous, vibrant look with particularly vivid fire! The diamond’s hand cut facets are charmingly wide, creating big and bright sparkle as well as captivating flashes of colorful fire (rainbow refractions). Overall, this diamond has a striking presence, dazzling with bold sparkle and vividly colorful fire!

This diamond is being sold loose, but it can be mounted upon request. You may browse our collection of semi-mounts or inquire about a one of a kind custom design. Full of old world charm and dazzlingly brilliant, this diamond is an excellent choice for an enduring engagement or right hand ring.
