This gorgeous and high quality 0.61ct old transitional cut diamond has exceptional VS1 clarity and faces up beautifully white! Measuring 5.5mm in diameter, it has a great spread and a larger than typical look for its weight. Cut entirely by hand in the 1930’s to 1940’s, this diamond is charmingly vintage, completely unique, and guaranteed to be 100% conflict free!

Graded VS1 for clarity, there are no visible inclusions under 10x magnification. Graded J for color, the diamond faces up beautifully white. The diamond displays dazzling, bright sparkle as well as vividly colorful flashes of fire. As an old transitional cut, the diamond has old style facets and bold sparkle similar to an old European cut but with a smaller culet and proportions similar to modern standards. It absolutely retains the unique charm of a hand cut stone. It is the best of both worlds with both vintage charm as well as big spread and ideal light performance!

This diamond is being sold loose, but it can be mounted upon request. You can browse our collection of semi-mounts or inquire about a one of a kind custom design. Charmingly vintage, this stunning diamond offers an enduring connection to the past! It is an excellent choice for a gorgeous and historied engagement or right hand ring.
