The garnet and diamonds are all natural earth mined. The garnet is a well saturated deep red hue and has a look similar to a ruby. Its asscher cut is gorgeously sophisticated and sparkles with bright red flashes. The single cut diamonds are graded H-J for color while the four rose cut diamonds that accent the outer halo are graded J-K. The diamonds have a very subtle champagne tint. Against the black rhodium finish, it is difficult to notice the diamonds’ slight warmth. The diamonds are graded SI1-I1 for clarity. The inclusions are too small to pick out with the naked eye, and blend nicely into the sea of sparkle. The rose cuts that accent the outer halo are well executed and catch the light beautifully as they are tall domed rose cuts with extra facets. The settings are 925 sterling silver finished with black rhodium on the top of the setting and the outside of the shank. The inside of the shank and the undergallery is finished with 24k yellow gold for a luxurious pop of color. The ring is completely made by hand from metal forming to stone setting and really is great blend of vintage with modern. The ring measures an impressive 15.3mm across (north south) and 9.0mm from finger to top.
