Fiery, bright white, and exceptionally clean, the certified G-H VS2 diamond is excellent in quality. Cut by hand a lifetime in the past during the 1920s - 1930s, it is imbued with history and longevity. Although the ring has been recently crafted by hand by master artisans, the diamond is a true antique. This ring is the best of both worlds as the diamond is truly old and full of history and the ring is crafted with all the care, craft, and detail of a true Art Deco piece, but it also has exceptional durability for everyday wear and none of the damage accrued by a truly old piece. A stunning work of craftsmanship, the domed platinum setting is fully encrusted with diamonds and richly textured with hand applied milgrain! The 1.15ct center diamond is certified by EGL-USA, and the ring is appraised by UGS with a substantial retail replacement value of $16,630! Bright white, the diamond received a grade of G-H for color. It shows absolutely no warmth on the face up. Graded VS2 for clarity, the diamond is exceptionally clean. Even under 10x magnification it’s difficult to find any inclusions. As an old European cut, the diamond has an air of old world charm, and its wide, old style facets display bold sparkle as well as vivid fire. Overall, it is a magnificent diamond, full of life and fire. The accent diamonds are bright white and completely eye clean, graded G-H for color and VS1-SI2 for clarity. The side diamonds are full old European cuts. This is a special touch as it is quite rare to find fully faceted old European cuts in this size (most vintage rings use single cuts for the side diamonds)! Totaling ½ carat, the accent diamonds add substantial sparkle! The diamonds are all completely natural earth mined and have not received any treatments or enhancements. The setting is solid platinum and handmade in breathtaking intricate detail! The ring measures 12.2mm across (north south) and 8.5mm from finger to top.
