Cut by hand over well over 100 years ago, it is completely unique, guaranteed to be 100% conflict free, and full of old world charm. The cut is very well executed with fantastic brilliance! The diamond is certified by AGS, the American Gem Society. Under AGS’s rigorous standards, the diamond received a grade of SI1 for clarity, and it is 100% eye clean. It is a fantastic SI1, and even under a loupe it is difficult to find inclusions. We feel it is quite close to VS. Graded L for color, the diamond faces up beautifully with very very subtle warmth. The very subtle body warmth of this diamond would not be noticeable at all when set in yellow or rose gold. The diamond’s hand cut facets are charmingly wide, creating big and bright sparkle as well as captivating flashes of colorful fire (rainbow refractions).
