GIA has determined that the sapphire is Cambodian in origin; this region shares similar characteristics as Burma sapphires. The sapphire is natural earth mined. The sapphire has been heated by international standards, as have the vast majority of sapphires. This is completely standard, stable and permanent, and helps bring out this vivid blue color. The diamonds total 1.20ct and are matched Old European cuts, creating eye-catching sparkle. Bright white, they are graded I for color. They perfectly set off the blue of the sapphire. The diamonds are graded VS for clarity, even under 10x magnification it is quite difficult to find any inclusions. The diamonds are completely natural earth mined and have not received any treatments or enhancements.
